Since 2007, Corus Radio Winnipeg has brought local/national attention to alleviating child hunger and raised nearly one million dollars for Hunger for Hope. Corus Feeds Kids builds on this success. On Thursday, May 17, 2012, Corus Entertainment launches its inaugural Corus Feeds Kids Day, a campaign designed to help alleviate hunger among Canadian children by raising funds for local food banks across Canada.

99.1 Fresh FM will be live on location from Sobeys at 1660 Kenaston Boulevard from 11:00am to 3:00pm and encourage listeners to make a donation to Hunger For Hope. All proceeds raised will be directed to Hunger For Hope and will purchase child-friendly food. Together, by supporting Corus Feeds Kids and local food banks, we can do our part in providing Canadian children with the foundation to reach their greatest potential.
